Biography
After 10 years as a researcher in life sciences, Stéphany Gardier decided to write about science, instead of making science ! She came back to the university for a master degree in science journalism and had the oppotunity to cut her teeth as a journalist for two major newspapers : Le Figaro (Paris) and Le Temps (Geneva). For almost 3 years, she was the deputy chief editor of a french health website. Nowadays, she collaborates with several medias, in France and Switzerland. Working mainly for written press, she has also a great experience on radio and webTV.

How Africa organises its fight against diabetes
Diabetes is a silent killer in Africa, and fatality is rising. While international financing is more oriented towards transmitted diseases, some local actors are exploring telemedicine and health at work as possible measures.
Noma, the faceless disease
The goal of the project is to raise awareness of the Noma disease by shedding light on survivors who have become adults and to show the medical as well as the societal consequences of the disease they have to overcome.
