Laurence Soustras is a French freelance journalist based in Paris. She has worked for Les Echos, l'Agefi and Radio France International. She primarily, but not exclusively, writes about the themes of development and international finance, specifically in Africa. She is a former China correspondent for Les Echos and the Swiss newspapers 24 Heures and La Tribune de Genève.
By highlighting the efforts of palliative care pioneers in Africa promoting better access to morphine, this project will shed light on the lack of affordable generics and the restrictive regulation of anti-pain drug imports.
