Christelle Gérand is a freelance journalist based in Ethiopia since 2017. She reports on the political situation of the country, including the diverse conflicts, as well as social, health and environmental issues in one of the poorest state in the world.
She also frequently reports in neighboring countries for Le Figaro, Le Monde diplomatique, Mediapart, Ouest France, GEO, TOPO.
She mostly writes long features on neglected issues.
She has previously been based in Paris for 2 years and New York for 5 years.
Due to different variables, the African continent is the most affected by infertility. This project will look at the suffering couples, as well as the solutions they can turn to, including "the walking egg" technology.
