Le Figaro is a French daily newspaper of record founded in 1826 and published in Paris. Its editorial line is conservative and it is the oldest national newspaper in France. Le Figaro is also the second largest national newspaper in France and in 2012 it had a daily circulation of 330,952 copies.

Four maternity in Burkina Faso launched a project in 2015 for neonatal screening of sickle cell anaemia. This is a new project in Burkina Faso, where an estimated 2% of the population is diagnosed with sickle cell anemia.
